Imagination Station is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic cook to join our team! This position is responsible for preparing kid-friendly breakfasts, lunches, and two snacks each day. While meals must meet childcare nutrition requirements, there is plenty of room for creativity and introducing fun, nutritious options the children will enjoy.
Schedule:
- Hours generally fall between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
• Some flexibility is available
• Part-time and full-time options may be considered
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, and two daily snacks
• Creating nutritious, child-friendly menus
• Accommodating food allergies and dietary needs
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and doing daily dish washing.
• Monitoring ingredients and assisting with grocery and supply planning
• Following food-safety and childcare nutrition guidelines

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable preparing food for groups of young children, and excited to bring creativity into the kitchen. A current Washington State Food Worker Card—or willingness to obtain one—is required.
