Responsible for engaging and serving customers, and meeting team and individual sales goals. Support the execution of product merchandising and inventory management. Work closely with Owners group to identify opportunities to grow community and retail sales.
Core Accountabilities:
- Sales and customer service focused; every customer matters.
- Demonstrate knowledge of product offered in STCo, specifically the story of our local artisans.
- Approachable and enjoy conversation with customers.
- Contribute and collaborate with your teammates to achieve team and individual sales goals.
- Aid in meeting sales plan for the STCo business goals.
- Manage open and close procedure with point of sale system.
- Capture customer information if they would like to stay in touch or have specific product request.
- Communicate to owners group opportunities identified by customers to grow STCo business.
- Identify business opportunities that fit in core business categories, all recommendations welcome.
- Light housekeeping to maintain a clean and well-kept store.
Experience Required
- Approachable, outgoing Sales Associate
- Understanding of point of sale transactions and procedures.
- Skilled at multi-tasking, every day is a new day.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour, plus a generous employee discount.
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week. We are a seven day a week retailer; the right person will have flexible availability across both weekdays and weekends.
